My life as a child was never still.
People came and people left.
My two parents tried to fill
The role, they did their best,
But Mom and Dad were spread so thin
I played the maid to help them out.
Growing up in a house of ten,
I felt alone.

I felt like I was someone's Cinderella, but I never got a happy end.
I thought there was nothing left of me and I wanted to hurt myself.
A small voice with nobody listening,
Nobody listening but one.

Time after time I prayed to God: "Let it all be over.

Far from my life as a child."

I was hopeless, I felt stuck
Like a butterfly born in a Coke bottle.
