Story Behind The Song

Spending my first Christmas in a new relationship and remembering how much better the holidays can be when you have someone to share them with.

Song Description

I've always thought it would be cool to write a Christmas song but never knew where to begin to make it stand out from all of the rest. However, I recently found the inspiration and lyrics that would make up the song "December To Remember". Spending the holidays so far away from family and without a significant other can be one of the worst feelings one could experience throughout the year. That all changed for me when I finally met that special someone and was able to experience our first Christmas together and feel the joy and warmth that it brings when you have someone to share the festive time with. There was now reason to write a feel good Christmas song that is very personal, yet has a message everyone can relate to. Why this song means even more to me now is because my grandfather lost his strong battle with cancer last Christmas. It was a hard hit during a time when families are supposed to come together in excitement and happiness. Having found someone to share the holidays with helped lighten up a heavy heart.
