Story Behind The Song

We wrote this song as an antidote to bullying and oppression at school, and in the workplace. It has gathered more fans than any song we have written - it seems to strike a chord with listeners. We hope that school and college choirs, and young artists, will pick up the song and use it as a rallying cry.

Song Description

A young girl or woman empathises with a victim of bullying and hurtful slurs, and decides to take affirmative action by publicly befriending the victim. By doing this, she make a brave stand and defies the oppressors, inviting others to follow her lead.
