cause I believe if you tell me we are not able
than I can see no sense
and there is no need to carry on

our differences make this world

and that's the beauty of the whole damn thing
if we hide ourselves underneath the ground
we will never hear the angels sing

perhaps we can walk along this journey
and share the things we all need
along the way
then there would be no need for power
or for anger
there could be unity
we would not always have to agree
if we honor one another
we would know what it really means
to be free
