This piece definitely fits right inside the Classical Contemporary genre. I like the syncopated bass hookline that keeps returning. There is an Eastern flavour in the strings section which is very well arranged, holds back when the flute plays, and then some nice breathing space when you just have the triangle playing. Strings and flute trills are very well done. Overall this is a really well written piece which keeps the main theme in mind, and builds on it well. The piece has been recorded to a high standard, great use of stereo and reverb. The piece to me sounds as if it may have been written for a film animation of some kind.
