Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song when I lived in India. After a very hot summer, I finally was hot enough (and curious enough) to take a dip in the holy river Ganges. It's a very dirty river and Hindus believe that it purifies everything. At night you can often see candles in little clay pots with flowers floating by.
Song Description
It's the last song in my EP Strange Love Songs.

Lyrics
An Ocean of sorrow
I came to the river of bliss
Here I am praying to drown
The king lost his crown
The queen lost her gown
I caught the mirror frown as I fell down and down and down
An Ocean of sorrow
I came to the river of bliss
Here I am praying to drown
All pains float away
like candles on the river
