Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song one day while feeling inspired by true love. The idea of it. The actual events that transpire in the lyrics of the song may not have happened to me directly but I have felt this way at points in my life. A lot of my songs are downtrodden and reflective but this song is wholely upbeat and has a message that anyone can be captured by true love at any moment, even when we are broken down on the side of the road.
Song Description
This song is the familiar subject of finally finding that special someone. The people meet somewhere on the side of the road. A woman has a broken down car and is stuck in this lonely town. Someone comes along and suddenly realizes that this lonely woman is the person he has been waiting for. The two run off together to another town where they can begin their life together. The man reveals that she is the one that has always been in his heart.

Lyrics
There you are.
I knew it from the night I dreamed you up.
The curl in your hair and the way you said, "I'm stuck."
Hurry now it's raining and almost dark.
Dear don't worry another second.
Cause I'm here now, I'll take care of you.
The next town awaits.
You are someone, you are real.
You are beautiful in every single way.
There's new life.
I love the sound you bring into my days.
I'm not upset just sad you're here so late.
It's like missing a perfect chord you showed the way.
I won't worry another second.
Cause you're here now, I'll take care you, the next town is not so far away.
My heart knew you.
Yes, it saw you in a place where only deep desire forms.
Step into the shadows beneath, heavy sorrow recedes to breathe.
The times now we have to go.
The next town is what we'll call home.
