Story Behind The Song

When i was 26, my lover of two and half years passed away, and this is the song that came out of that experience. I began writing the song when he was sick with the dreadful feeling that he wasn't going to make it, and then finished it after he passed. i performed this song for the first time at his memorial service, and continue to inspire audiences with this deeply moving and heart-wrenching song.

This song takes the listener on a journey from the moment when the 2 lovers meet until he dies unexpectedly, and she is left to come to terms with his sickness and eventual death. A sad, heartbreaking song, yet full of hope, love courage, and positivity.
