Story Behind The Song
I've always been a Beatles fan - and especially a fan of John Lennon. I felt the Beatles as a group didn't really do a proper tribute to John Lennon and thought I would try and do one for them. Very cheeky!
Song Description
John Lennon moved many people with his songs and continues to do so long after he has left us. Question: is part of the soul of an artist captured by his audience after he is gone? Perhaps, as long as people listen to, are inspired or moved by an artist that has passed on, they remain amongst us.

Lyrics
Dear John I wrote
Just to say I'm sorry
It must be years
I know you'll be worried
Since you've gone we've been strong
Though we've tasted some tears
I hear your song
Your voice still moves me
It's been so long
Since words rang so truly
I made them mine and time
Still can't take them away
You're still the same, John
Nothings changed, John
We still remain yours
And we send all our love to you
Once we were young
Now we're growing old
We come undone
Just like the threads on these clothes
But we'll keep your memory like new
We're still the same, John
Nothings changed, John
We still remain yours
And we send all our love to you
I call your name
You turn so slowly
It's just a dream
I have when I'm lonely
Dear John, when we're gone
Will you be lonely too?
Til then we'll send all our love to you
