Story Behind The Song

Written amidst the 2004 Washington state Governor's election that was plagued by fraud, cover ups, and biased judges and local media. Engrossed in the Alice In Wonderland question "how deep does the rabbit hole go?"; Adriel researched and wrote an anthem against those who betrayed and to those who turned a blind eye. The song's interesting blend of heavy riffs and definite middle eastern influences, blend to create an unmistakably unique canvas upon which a wake up call is painted, "What Went Wrong?".

Song Description

Set against the backdrop of Turkish inspired metal riffs and doumbek and kit driven percussion. The song explores the cliche' "America, home of the free", this song dives headlong into political issues that divide and destroy the country that the artist loves. Lyrically serving as a wakeup call to the under-informed masses.
