Story Behind The Song
This is a cheerful song that, on the surface, seems like nothing more than a pleasant young love song. There is also a bit of a commentary on war ... that even when wars start to wane, you know that the problems will come up again. I was thinking about the ongoing (and still ongoing) problems in the middle east. Still, love rises above worldly problems. When we released this song on an EP by Wilfred N & the Grown Men, it was the number one requested song in a small commercial radio station in Quebec. I was quite proud of that. Small victory, but good victory.
