Cool

Story Behind The Song

I had this girlfriend that REALLY, I mean, REALLY loved me at the time, and I wrote a song for her called, "I'm Cool," which was about her and me both being a cool couple, but when she broke up with me, I rewrote the song to where it was about a guy calling himself cool after being in a toxic relationship, but I did keep the original name of the song.

Lyrics

Cool is what I call myself

I'm not unusual

Lies are what I've told myself

I'm not delusional

Somehow I've been surprised

By my reflection

Somehow I care less and less as I learn lessons

You're cooler than me

Baby your likeable

To a degree
