Story Behind The Song

We were watching the 9 O clock news and it was just one tragic story after a next. A six year old was raped and killed, someone stabbed an old lady on the train, Taxes, war and more taxes. So we decided to make a song expressing our feelings about how everthing was so negative and tragic. We went in to the studio and we had the hook in about 15 minutes. Everything fell into place after that.

Song Description

This is a 3 verse song where 3 different MC's impressively express their feelings regarding todays current state of affairs. The first verse is done from an urban community's perspective, where the second verse is a from a more general point of veiw. The third and final verse is from a personal standpoint with some general worldwide observations. All 3 verses are seemlessy tied together by the superb wailing of a female vocalist, who does an excellent job of capturing the emotional pain and concerns of the song.
