Endless caves

We have a lifetime
to search our hearts
in a maze of corridors
to find out just who we are...

Oh, I have wandered
through endless caves,
I felt the slaves
of my heart
as I knelt down,
praying for Light
to end a night
this fearful and dark....

Then - then I was taken,
so high, so deep,
I could not sleep.
Then a Voice
spoke like a whisper

Now I no longer wander
or feel the need

endless caves.
