good blues song, song really moody, nice mick tayloresque guitar solo, other insreumentalist parts good too
Good tune. I really liked the singers tone and the chorus effect used on his vocal. It worked really well. For some reason Ry Cooder came to mind when listening to this track. I think it had more to do with the vibe of the song then anything else. 2 thumbs up and if I had more thumbs to give I would. Good work!
Captivating and exciting groove. Rythm at the top of this song really captured me. Great musicianship and singer's definitely in the vibe. Very nice theme overall
We need more songs like this. Great vocal delivery and solid instrumental performances. Nice uncluttered production!
I liked the story the song told. Vocals were nice and delivery was great. I could hear and feel the emotions. The instrumentation was very good as well.
has sort of JJ Cale feel. It has a cool feel
Reminds me of Keb Mob, Mark Knopler and little like Lou Rawls. Love the saxophone solo. Love the message of the sound. The guitar work sets the mood of the song very well. The voice is perfect for this song. The sax in the solo section brought a surprise to my ear, "Ear Candy". Great lyrics, your choice of words drew me in. Man, being a drummer I love the beginning with the drum pattern that was played.
Felt it was more rock or rock/country than jazz modern. But, that is simply my personal impression. The singer had an accomplished voice and delivery. I think the main lyric and message of the song was repeated strongly and conveyed, but could perhaps have some additional lyrics in support. Easy listening for driving, socialising and in hotels etc.
Absolutely love this sweet ass blue song "Just Gone" great execution of moledy and instrumentation is perfect and the recording spectacular 5 Stars Dude:-).....
This song is really great. The vocals are right on. The instruments are very good. The guitar lead is sweet. The lyrics are good. I really like the poly-rhythms of the drums. The sax is a really sweet!!! The backup vocals are really good. I like this song. Keep up the good work!!! I hope to hear more!!!
Very evocative piece of music, love the line, " you don't know what you need till you're gone ", very well done.
The song has potential. Loved the guitar & sax solos later in the track. I'm not familiar with modern blues, but it has a jazz flavor, esp. when the sax solo is in.
loved the blues rock groove...it was contagious...this is a modern blues rock song with a lot of potential for movies and television placements...the melodic hook was memorable and catchy...the guitar solo was very professionally done...the overall musical track was great...this is a fairly unique sound...It stands on its own
would of liked to hear the song without static..
I think it is original.
Really atmospheric song.......good lead vocal......very engaging all the way through....love the guitar......
