Story Behind The Song
I (Lisa) was with my brother in the hospital when he passed away and a few minutes before he died he was looking not at his wife, nor myself, but staring straight ahead and talking to someone we couldn't see. He wasn't fearful, just incredibly sad, and he asked them "Why me? Why do I have to go now?" as tears streamed down his face. My perspective on death changed that day. Some people hold to the belief that Death is some scary skeleton figure in a hooded cloak carrying a sharp scythe...but I don't believe that to be true, I believe it's our own guardian angel who has looked out for and protected us since birth, they're the ones who wrap us in their wings and give us unconditional love as they take us home.
Song Description
"I'll Wait Till Then" starts off sounding like a song of unrequited love but you find out later in the song that it's actually a Guardian Angel singing to the person she watches over.

Lyrics
I'll Wait Till Then
*Verse I
I'm the one you sometimes flirt with
You've almost kissed me several times
Just to turn your head the last moment
And my kiss denied
*Verse II
I'm the one you sometimes search for
The one you love to tempt and tease
But one day you'll beg at my feet
Postured on your knees
*Chorus I
It wasn't the time
Our lips, last breaths
You declined
But I know someday
We will meet again
And you will be mine
I'll just have to wait till then
*Verse III
You can't tempt Fate too often
The day will come when you won't win
I'm the Angel who will come collect you
No more waiting then
*Chorus II
Then it will my time
Our lips, last breaths
You'll resign
See I knew one day
We would meet again
Your soul will be mine
I just have to wait till then
*Ending
I can wait till then
