Story Behind The Song

Under AT&T's new restructuring plan in 2019 for its media operations, Atlanta-based Turner Broadcasting will disappear into the annals of history. Turner will be splintered or absorbed into three newly created entities. This is unacceptable to the many folks who worked many years for Turner Broadcasting under Ted's watch. The City of Atlanta also owes a great deal of gratitude to Ted, for without his contributions, it would not be the international city it has become.
