Story Behind The Song

I am the songwriter. ((mitch carr) My dog passed away this summer and I wrote this as a tribute to him. We are doing a music video with a compliation of dogs doing crazy things (from other internet videos) The end of the video will ask people to support their local shelter. The singers name is Rich Tipton and all the guitars were done by Mike Stacey

I was born in the country, loved to play around, one day an older boy pushed my sister to the ground.
He was twice my size but I jumped up on his back. I took a rock out of my pocket and I gave his head a crack.
