Story Behind The Song
Its a short story about traveling through the San Gorgonio Mountains in 2018. I climbed up in a fire tower and saw mist over the mountains as far as I could see, thus "my forever". When I reflect on that sight, it is still magical to me.
Song Description
The story of my visit to the San Gorgonio mountains and how it still moves me when I think about the view from a fire tower. There is a word play on "saw my forever... waiting for me". Instead of I saw forever, I sing "my forever" as if the misty mountains were my true love, and I wonder if they really are now?
