"Women have a wonderful instinct about things. They can discover everything except the obvious." -Oscar Wilde (Irish Poet, Novelist, Dramatist and Critic, 1854-1900)

/verse 1/
They say a woman
can see you with her heart
She can discover it all
With her instincts
so wonderful and sharp
So why am I feeling so small?

/verse 2/
I told myself
a thousand times before
I will forget about you
No point in waiting
for you anymore
And I'm about to follow through

/pre-chorus/
Your head had always
been stuck in the cloud
Now listen good
when I say it outloud:

/chorus/
ALL THIS TIME
it was right in your view
OPEN YOUR EYES
when I'm giving you clues
HOW LONG BEFORE
you see that I love you
STUPID GIRL!
That's why I'm singing the blues

/verse 3/
Don't bother having
your ear to the ground
It's too much work for you
Throw yourself at boyfriends
That don't stay around
It's what you always do

/verse 4/
How long before you wake up
Before you comprehend
Before I'm gone for good
I don't want you to call me
Don't wanna be "just friends"
I wish you'd understood

/Bridge/
When you needed
a shoulder you could cry on,
Who was the one that was always there for you?
Who was the one you could rely on?
Who understands you better than I do?

/solo = intro chords x2 /

/pre-chorus/
You never cared about
what other people feel
Now listen good
because this is for real:

/chorus/ x2
ALL THIS TIME
it was right in your view
OPEN YOUR EYES
when I'm giving you clues
HOW LONG BEFORE
you see that I love you
STUPID GIRL!
That's why I'm singing the blues

/ repeat intro chords twice or more to fade, alternate guitar and horn solo /

Maxim Senin brings back memories of Van Morrison, "Moondance" and an easy flowing groove that that just feels good! Check it out.

A broken heart never felt so good! "Stupid Girl" proves that love hurts, and in all the right places. This infectious toe-tapping song is a great way to celebrate the universal theme of unrequited love.
