Story Behind The Song

I was contemplating what my priorities really were. I was also looking up at the ceiling during a restless night where I was comparing my own performance with where I wanted to be, so I got up and wrote these lyrics. They reflect that some of my friends are meant to go into stardom, and others of us are meant to write behind the scenes or sing in local venues, but music and performance can be great across the board.

This song feels the angst of performance and relationships. Prioritizing and feeling the pressures of the market targets and stress, and finally finding a swing in the celebration of everyone finding their target.
