Story Behind The Song

It all started when my brother Bob and I entered a music contest at the Yorkville Country Palace in Toronto. I was just fourteen, and he was around twenty. At the time, Bob was working with special needs kids and attending college, and I was getting ready to start high school. Around that time, he was also developing a song called "Jamaica Home."
During the contest, a gentleman heard us perform and was drawn to our sound and harmonies. That encouragement inspired us to take things further, and not long after, we found ourselves in the studio for the very first time.
We did some rewrites in the booth, and for two first-timers, recording with a click track was a real challenge. But we rose to it. Through that process, "My Little Jamaican Home" was born, a blend of harmony, rhythm, and heart. A big thank-you to Fiverr and their team for helping bring the arrangements together and giving this song a fresh breath of life.

Hands in the sand
Sit around feeling fine

In my little Jamaican home (Osheeana - oh-my)
A place I can call my own (Osheeeeana - oh-my)
