This song was inspired by my introspective thoughts on the approach of my 70th birthday.

I'm elderly now,
And still learning how to live, to be,

It's not what I own,
But what I alone will give of me,

When I think of wealth,
I pray for good health,
It keeps me around,

I'm over the hill,
But I'm gonna still,
Break some new ground,

There's so many things I want to get done,
Doing them will keep me on the run,

The core of my life,
Friends, fam'ly and wife,
Gifts from God above,

I'm elderly now,
And must show some how,
They all share my love.
