Story Behind The Song

I know my brother, Scott Phillips, had his heart set on singing "In the Garden," as his contribution to the "In the Presence of Grace" album but he graciously agreed to tackle these three songs I had sung with our father, Rev. Phillips, in a concert we gave years ago. The middle song, "If That Isn't Love," was written by Dottie Rambo, who was one of the most prolific Christian-based songwriters ever! Scott recorded his vocal parts in a studio in Grand Rapids, MI and my producer, Bill Bentley, put it together with my vocals in Concord, California. So, you see, this is transcontinental collaboration.
