I Second That Emotion

Story Behind The Song

As the name suggests, I spent a large portion of my performing and recording years in Detroit where it was expected one would embrace the Motown sound. Well, it wasn't like anyone could resist it! This song was a clear choice to include on my cover album, especially as I remember performing it solo as well as with the cover band I joined, called the "Citizens." We really kicked this one out to all those Marriott lounge guests!
