Story Behind The Song
A few months after my father passed away, my brother sent me a message that people had been breaking into his old property and stealing things like the water heater the copper pipes. He then told me that he was sitting in Dad's living room with 3 loaded guns, just waiting. I had to call and talk him down from doing something regrettable. Nothing crazy ended up happening, but I knew I had a story.

Lyrics
Lost my brother today, he ain't gone, he just went away
Shot a man on our daddy's land
Lost my brother today
He set up shop with a .45, bottle of whisky by his side
Drunk on hate, he sat in wait
He set up shop with a .45
And he said, come on over, wont take long
You'll know the difference between right and wrong
Open up the door, no chance to run
Last thing you'll see's gonna be my gun, last thing you'll see gonna be my gun
See daddy ain't been gone a year, so you got no business around here
So you can choose, I got nothin to lose
Cuz daddy ain't been gone a year
And he'd say, come on over, won't take long
You'll know the difference between right and wrong
Open up the door, no chance to run
Last thing you'll see's gonna be my gun, last thing you'll see's gonna be my gun, last thing you'll see's gonna be my gun.
