Story Behind The Song
Was playing around with chords from the old "Spooky" song. Had always liked Sting's "Sister Moon", then had this idea to go along with my chords.
Song Description
Story of a girl who blames the moonlight for revealing her secret crush. The song twists in that she's annoyed with the moon for letting her secret out, but in the end she thanks for moon for bringing the guy around.

Lyrics
Clouds rimmed in silver, magic light of the moon
The party ended late but way too soon
You saw me fall for him by the band's last tune
But secrets aren't safe with you
Beautiful Moon
No stars to alert me, your conspiracy to chime
Clandestine clouds, your partners in crime
You alone knew my secret, entrusted to you
I can't hide in the clouds as you do
Well, what did you show him? What could he have seen
Of my unavowed heart by your beguiling beams
So you betrayed me, you traitor, your innocence I impugn
Mirror of my heart, you beautiful moon.
Did you conspire with the man to make my mystery undone?
Or did you consort with your sister, the sun?
Take away all her light, I'm abandoned to your night
With no power to fight moonlight
So you've been on my side all the while
My accomplice in your style
So you've brought him to me, my secret meets its doom
I'll forgive your treachery of revealing my heart so soon
For I've discovered your design--chance had no room
You've been an artful ally
My beautiful moon.
