(Verse 1)
Well it's almost 2:00 AM
And I've closed 'em down again
And the Yellow Cab
Is here to take me home
Bartender pour me one more shot
Of the cheapest stuff you got
Cause I just can't face
Another night alone
(Build 1)
One of our old friends just told me what you said
And it hurts to hear the rumors that you spread
(Chorus)
Girl you're killin' me with those
Cheap shots
You've been aiming at my heart
And you're tearing me apart
With those cheap shots
Bartender tell me how or when
Could I ever love again
When I've lost the sweetest love
I ever found
And my drowning heart
Is on it's third time down
Drowning in those - cheap shots
(Verse 2)
You tried to give me all the blame
Cause my job takes me away
But my heart always remains
At home with you
You said I hurt you and I lied
So that you are justified
In the runnin' round
And cheatin' that you do
(Build 2)
So I drink the cheapest whiskey at the bar
But I just can't seem to wash you from my heart
(Repeat Chorus)
(End)
Well it's almost 2:00 AM
And I've closed 'em down again
And the Yellow Cab
Is here to take me - home
