Lyrics
WINDOWS
I looked into your windows to see inside your soul.
I had to know if all was well where love had found its home.
I saw your house was empty, when it came to me.
That never-ending love we shared was just a memory.
Your eyes are the windows to your soul.
Forever came and now we're letting go.
Tears fill my eyes and memories fill my mind,
as I look into your windows one last time.
Emotions swell inside me. Thoughts race through my mind.
But words have all been spoken. Our love has passed with time.
I pull you close and hold you. We whisper our goodbyes.
You reach for me and touch my face, then brush my tears aside.
I smile at you and kiss your cheek and tell you I'll be fine.
I watch as my reflection fades from your windows one last time.
Your eyes are the windows to your soul.
Forever came and now we're letting go.
Tears fill my eyes and memories fill my mind,
as I look into your windows one last time.
I looked into your windows to see inside your soul.
I had to know if all was well where love had found its home.
