Story Behind The Song

Gary was working with Mark Case on a couple of film projects when Mark mentioned he had written some lyrics and needed some music to go with it so they could use it on the soundtrack of his next film Gary wrote this melody on the first try and Mark and everyone else who's heard the song loved it.

Song Description

Love has ended. You can tell by looking into the other person's eyes. This is a beautiful song about someone who knows it's over but has fond memories of a relationship that's ended. It's medium slow, poignant, reminiscences.
