Story Behind The Song
Linda Farrell wrote the lyrids and they inspired me to write the music which took only about 15 minutes. I have played this song for many dances and it's always well-received.

Lyrics
Beginning Again
Verse 1
Beginning again with someone new,
Making a friend of someone like you.
You've been gone so long. Still, I can't forget
that someone like me is missing you yet.
Chorus
Beginning again is hard to do
when all of my love was given to you.
And someone new can't interest me yet.
I've loved you so long that I can't forget.
Verse 2
Oh, restless heart, why can't you hide
the lonely tears down deep inside?
I want to love somebody new
but I can't forget how I love you.
Chorus
Beginning again my dreams are so few,
now that you've gone and left me blue.
I can't forget. My tears fall like rain.
You're with someone new and I'm beginning again.
