Song Description
IT SHOWS A LOVELY WOMAN AND HER OBITUARY. SHE WAS IN A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT JUST AFTER HER BAND WAS SIGNED TO A RECORD CONTRACT. THE MAN SIGHS AND SHAKES HIS HEAD. AUDIENCE COMES TO BELIEVE THEY HAD A RELATIONSHIP. HE GOES TO THE FRIDGE AND GETS A GLASS OF ICED TEA. THE DOORBELL RINGS. HE OPENS THE DOOR BUT DOES NOT RECOGNIZE THE WISENED OLD WOMAN WITH A SAX ON HER BACK.
THEY ARE TRANSPORTED TO A SOUND STAGE AS THE MUSIC BEGINS. THE OLD WOMAN PLAYS THE SAX. AS SHE DOES SO, SHE GETS YOUNGER. HE BEGINS TO RECOGNIZE HER. WE SEE HIM FOR THE FIRST TIME AS HE TAKES A GUITAR SOLO. HIS GRAYISH, OLD, SKINNY SHAPE AND FEATURES BEGIN TO BLOSSOM AND HE GETS YOUNGER AS THE MUSIC PLAYS ON. THEY THEN TAKE A DUET, AND WE SEE THEIR LOVE FOR EACH OTHER...TEARS IN THEIR EYES. AFTER THE CRESCENDO IN THE END, WE REALIZE SHE IS HIS LOST LOVE SENT TO GUIDE HIM THROUGH HIS DEATH AND THE PEARLY GATES. TWO PINGS IN THE END ARE FOR THE HALOS THEY RECEIVE HAND IN HAND...SCENE CHANGES TO HOSPITAL ROOM WHERE THE MAN, HOOKED UP TO MACHINES, IS JUST PASSING AND A FLATLINE IS HEARD...CUE THE PLEA FOR HELP FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM OF THIS HORRIBLE DISEASE.
