Story Behind The Song

I have loved this tune for a long time and first heard it in Puccini's "Turandot" opera. Awhile back, I wrote a set of lyrics for it too. I decided to include the solo piano rendition on my CD "St. Brigid of Kildare Suite".

Song Description

This is based on part of an ancient Chinese song known as "Jasmine Blossom". I have decided to give my adaptation the new title "Maurie's Faith" in honor of my friend, Maurie Harris.
