Story Behind The Song
I wanted to write a song about what climate change is doing to us and the earth, and what we can do about it.

Climate change is causing major interruptions in our lives, from wether blowouts to fires and floods. We have to make more use of renewable energy sources and change our ways of generating power for home use and transportation.

Lyrics
Climate change is causing weather blowouts
And leading to more frequent fires and floods
If we just wait around, the more we'll see of drought
And glaciers that turn into mud
Hurricanes and forest fires can make you
Want to move where it is more secure
But picking someplace new is hard 'cause we've no clue
Where new disasters will occur
It'll be a better day tomorrow
If today we find a way to change
How we live and generate power
And outgrow habits we've long made
Fossil fuels release a lot of methane
And other gases in the atmosphere
They trap the heat this way, we know what's to blame
For temperature rises this year
Solar panels and windmills can help to
Deal with the urgent threats we face
They'll get us to reduce, the carbon that we use
And maybe save the human race
It'll be a better day tomorrow
If today we find a way to change
How we live and generate power
And outgrow habits we've long made
When we all pull for a common goal, and really get down to work
That's when we will know for sure we'll survive on planet earth
It'll be a better day tomorrow
If today we find a way to change
How we live and generate power
And outgrow habits we've long made
