Story Behind The Song

The Journey actually started out as a slow melodic piano ballad. When we began to arrange it with the guitar, Jim Alford suggested speeding up the tempo and the song took on a whole new life. Its one of our first collaborative efforts and one of my personal favorites.

Song Description

The Journey is a song that focuses on a strong melody through-out. I think it reminds me of driving down the highway with the windows rolled down and the music playing on the radio. It has a feeling of freedom and simply enjoying the journey that life brings.
