For me this song is about forbidden love or young love almost that Romeo & Juliet kind of feel. The guitar itself evokes this forbidden love anthem within the song. And the back up vocals in the verses are almost haunting. When you are in love whether it be young love, forbidden love, or unrequited love you just can't see straight. Love is the ultimate goal and I would say this is about someone very special.
