Backdrop started several months ago when Yingsong Kaping decided to start a band. Then, the group consisted of Yingsong up front with Andy Green on bass and Sheraton Carter on drums. Later on, while jamming at Claire Daniels birthday party, the group decided to add Matt Gaba on keyboard and chose Oz Davis to take the lead guitar slot they had been looking to fill. Only a few days later, the band decided to try out for LHHS Varsity Revue, playing "Grass is Greener" for their audition. They made the show performed their new song, "I'll Move On" at VR, and it was a huge success. Thanks for the support. The band has already written several songs, and hopes to have many more recorded within the next few weeks.
