Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song for my daughter when she was born. I realized very soon that it was not because we did something good to deserve all that we had. Living in N. America pretty much guarantees you that you will have enough food to survive, medicines if you get sick, and a place to lay your head at night. It may not be five stars, but you will survive and have opportunities. (Pursuit of Happyness) But, the same can not be said if you are born in Uganda or Malawi, or Mozambique, or a hundred other poorer countries in the world. I simply ask the question, "Do you have enough to share"?

Lyrics
Where Will You Sleep Tonight
Safe and sound, she lays down, my own baby girl
Fresh from God, she loves me so, it is a perfect world
Stay with me, daddy stay, I'll hold you hand in mine
Let us pray, for all the children, waiting for the sun to shine
Where will you sleep tonight?
Will you sleep deep tonight?
Are you loved there
And oh so dear
Where will you sleep tonight?
Turn the earth, half way round, another girl lives there
Born in love, yet to her, life is not always fair
Though dirt poor, happy rich, somehow makes her smile
'tis a gift, to our world, the Faith of a little child
Where will you sleep tonight?
Will you sleep deep tonight?
Are you loved there
And oh so dear
Where will you sleep tonight?
(bridge)
And as I watch her sleep I wonder will I ever know
Why 've I been given so much to give, but I just can't let go
I dream about a time when all the world will wake up to the call
I try so hard to believe that sleep will one day come and bless them all
(chorus)
