Lyrics
Verse 1: In the beginning there was a word, that heard another word that sound the same and it went on and on until it became what it is today. There?s so much to say about the rhyme, but so little time, but while you?ve got the chance check out mine. Cause, I?m destined to be one of the greatest of all time. I?m rhyming, through bantam weights on up to the heavy and when some shit goes down, I?m ready. But, back to the rhyme, it compels me some shit I shouldn?t say, it tells me to go ahead J, get it off your chest. Some are gonna like it forget the rest so I write it down and I give it to you. Analyze it, criticize it, but it still gets through cause the rhyme.
(Chores) It the rhyme baby, it the rhyme? (Repeat.)
Verse 2: It?s amazing how the rhyme takes over me. You see, it?s like tells from the rhyme side I can?t hold it in, so; everywhere I go I carry a pen. Even in clubs, I write on note pads, napkins, and even my hand, but when ladies see that, they don?t understand. They see me as some kind of playboy. I?m Mr. Wright, I have to write, so get it right, alright? If the vibe?s strong enough and I ask for your number, I don?t have to write it down to remember. It?s for the rhyme, the rhymes out of control. If I don?t let it out I?ll explode.

Verse 3: Tupac Shakar, no-doubt, that brother?s bad but the rhyme took control of his soul and drove him mad. He couldn?t write fast enough, it blew him up, you thought it was a gun shot but the rhyme did it. You can?t escape the rhyme ask LL or any other rapper. Hell, ask any song writer or any poet. They?re hooked on the rhyme too, you didn?t know it? See, the rhyme?s out there and you best beware. It starts out simple, the cat, the hat. Next thing you know, you?re picking?em up throwing?em down, hyping?em and slowing?em down. Huh. So, heed my warning, the rhyme?s on a mission to take control of your soul is its intention. If you don?t believe me then get it a try, but remember I warned ya.
