Story Behind The Song
My mom's sister, Amy, passed away when my mom was a teenager. She was in a horrific plane crash and both her and her husband died on scene. My grandma and the rest of my family was heartbroken, and still is quite heartbroken over this traumatic loss. I wrote this song because I never got to meet my Aunt while she was her on earth, but I know I'll get to meet her one day and my family will get to hear her voice and see that she's okay. When I was a little girl I would imagine meeting my aunt and this is a picture of what I think that would look at. My great-grandma Jean also passed away a few years back and so I can just see my Auntie Amy and GG Jean dancin' to Springsteen up in heaven.

Lyrics
Amy's Song - Grace Gladem
VERSE 1
I saw you in a dream last night
You were running to me
You looked so pretty in that white dress you were wearing
Oh you looked so lovely
CHORUS
Just to see your face
To feel your arms wrapped around me to
Hear your voice say I'm okay
To hear you laugh
And to hear you cry
To hear your voice say I love you
My beautiful Amy
VERSE 2
Dancin' to springsteen as you walked down the road
Oh you looked so lovely
You were sittin' singin' with grandma Jean
About how much you loved your family
As you smiled so sweetly
CHORUS
BRIDGE
And I know it won't be long till I see you
And we will run and we will sing
But until that day that I meet you
I will sing to you, and I will know you
CHORUS
