Suave is a Classic/Latin Rock and Bluesy Soul influenced band based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Combining classic Latin Rock and Funk sounds of the 1970s with dance oriented Latin Pop, R&B and Salsa rhythms of today, Suave has been described by Latin Rock Legend Jorge Santana, as ,One of the best bands currently on the Bay Area Music scene. As in 2003, Suave was hired again by Jorge in 2004 to perform with him as his backup band for selected gigs. Suave features talented, professional musicians that have toured, performed and/or recorded with Pete Escovedo and The E Family, The Drifters, SANTANA percussion section members past & present, Armando Peraza, Raul Rekow & Karl Perazzo, The Jorge Santana Band, MALO, 2 members of the one & only Tower of Power horn section, Doc Kupka & Tom Politzer along with ex-Tower lead vocalist Tom Bowes.
