Music is so much a part of life, but it's about life as well. Often introspective, reflecting on times that were better or worse, my songs are the shadows of the life I've lived, by chance or design. All I can ever do is take the best and the worst of what I've seen in my life and try to share it. It gives me a sense of connection when I can say it all out loud. It makes me feel like a part of the world when I can sing it to the rafters. But at least it makes me feel something, and I hope it makes us all feel a little less alone when we hear the song of another expressing our sentiments exactly. But life is not always about music. Sometimes it's about learning. Sometimes it's about laughing, even at ourselves. Sometimes it's just about living, and that can be hard enough. When all you can do is survive, sometimes a little music helps.
