Hi I'm Rick Janz and these are a few songs I wrote and recorded with the band Ivory Monkey.Located out of the metro St. Louis Mo. area. Gearing up for some new tunes , testing the waters for my new solo stuff.The players you will hear on these 8 songs are the best...... Ivory Monkey

Ivory Monkey was a band I had for 10 years.Playing in the greater midwest region.Had world distribution on self titled release " Spread The Word " Ivory Monkey.Had some great players in the 10 yrs. but the last group 4+ yrs. in the runnin was the best and possibly my greatest [ thanks guys ] till now.The group consisted of myself lead guitar,writer and arranger-------- Rod [ Chase ] Ruffin lead vocals, now living and recording in the Bay area, Guy Kingsbury all guitars and lead and backing vocals, Jerry Lada Bass guitar[ 20yrs. of writing as my main bass man,Thanks } and James McDonald the 3rd on drums...I am mainly known as a writer in the Stl. area but these 4 guys gave new meaning to a Group , to change and rearrange my material and take it to where it needed to be.I may have wrote the songs but that didn't mean it didn't need some help, Thanks Guys your the best.But on to the new hope to have some new stuff posted before spring.
