I Am Belgae is a musical journey through the origins of the Belgian people, inspired by history, myth, and cultural memory. Each of the six chapters blends authentic ancient European instrumentation -- harp, pan flute, hurdy-gurdy, bagpipes, bodhrán, and tribal percussion -- with cinematic orchestral colors. The result is both historically rooted and emotionally powerful, reflecting the Belgae's land, warrior spirit, defiance against Rome, and enduring legacy into the present day. This album accompanies Yves Stilmant's book I Am Belgae and lays the foundation for a future documentary about the Belgae people.
