Song Description
During this economic recession people in companies, large and small, have had to face changes that are often made without the knowledge of or the consultation with the employee. Often a reorganization (defined as a change in boss, organization mission, spin-off, or other action that causes a change to the day-to-day comfort of routine) is made via a public or global announcement, leaving the worker feeling powerless and marginalized. Sensing something was up, this time I was prepared to leave as the next reorg was announced. "Oh, this time I"m ready, so reorganize me!" People who have heard this call it the anthem of the times.

Lyrics
They said it wasn't working.
We've got to grow our top line,
by refocusing our business
and redrawing reporting lines.
If it all sounds so familiar,
well, we've heard it all before.
Now I'm feeling like a chess piece
being dragged across the board.
So, again it's going to change.
Have you heard about the reorg?
Are you where you want to be?
Oh, this time I'm ready
So reorganize me, reorganize me. (repeat)
The news came in the morning
that I didn't make the cut.
Now severance in my pocket and
my office door locked shut.
But this time I saw it coming,
found a new place to belong.
Hope a month or two from this day
won't be back to this same song.
So, again it's going to change.
Have you heard about the reorg?
Are you where you want to be?
Oh, this time I'm ready
So reorganize me, reorganize me.
Oh, this time I'm ready ...
Oh, this time I'm ready
So reorganize me, reorganize me. (repeat)
