Story Behind The Song
While studying abroad in Germany, I took an excursion to Strasbourg in France. Among those going along with the group was one of the most beautiful girls, a girl from paris, I'd ever seen. I never mustered up the courage to speak to her, but instead wrote this song about her.
Song Description
A young man pines for a french girl he encounters on a train, while traveling abroad. As they both live in two different worlds, he can only have this girl in his dreams. Sadly, whenever he wakes the next morning, he realizes it was all a dream, and that the girl he longs for is nowhere to be found.

Lyrics
"The Stars Keep Putting You in My Arms"
Words and Music
by John Marble
Verse 1:
Don't wanna seem obsessed,
Though I may be.
But I can't distract my mind,
From your beauty.
Cause ever since you borded the train,
All I can see is your face.
Verse 2:
And I remember the way you move,
The way your body speaks is quite a view.
and I keep hoping to see you again,
If for only just a glimpse.
Chorus:
Oh and the stars keep putting you in my arms,
Just to take you away at the break of day
Verse 3:
And now you're under parisian lights,
And I'm a memory you left behind.
I'm keeping the smile you left
for me,
To remind me there's still beauty
Chorus
Oh it's such a shame,
I would've loved in so many ways
