Lyrics
i dedicate Dis song to Da Love of My Life ~ Bonnie Marie Killam
Songwriters ~ Michael Huntingford / Rusty Blake / Larry Gordon Killam
Hey Larry! I have your song done as much as it will be done. LOL! If I could, I would like to write the preamble for it and assuming you are going to say okay, I will include it with the lyric again and you can just copy and paste it. Here's the lyric and preamble:
Rusty here. I asked Larry if I could work with this song lyric and
didn't get an answer so, like the pushy guy that I am, I went ahead
anyway. LOL This concept of a simple picking of daisy petals
really caught my imagination. The chorus, to me, was Larry genius as he presents Daisy both as a flower and a girl. Larry's a cool guy and this is a very cool song. Too much reverb but it helps cover up my head-cold-nasally vocals.
A Petal Removed
She loves me ...
She loves me not.
What's it gonna be?
I love her...
I love her not
What's it gonna be?
A petal removed...
I'm hoping.
I'm praying.
What's it gonna be?
The flower...
Will tell me.
What's it gonna be?
A petal removed.
Chorus:
Daisy, don't lie...
Please tell me.
A smile or a sigh?
Heaven or hell me
Flower of truth
Watch o'er me
Show me your proof
Just for me
Does she love me
Or love me not
What am I to do?
I'm down to
The center spot
What am I to do?
A rose is red
A violet, blue.
Purple is a lovely hue
A rose is red
A violet, blue
A perfect shade of me and you
A petal removed.
